Reviews
I am a fan of Julian Schnabel's entire catalog, and this book is a pretty good review of his work to date. However, the inclusion of all of his film's scripts (in their entirety) is, to me, wasted space. All those pages devoted to scripts could have been used for an expanded look at his paintings, as well as screen shots from his films. I was disappointed that this work wasn't more devoted to his painting career. Disappointment aside, I would recommend this book. If you are interested in Schnabel I think this book is worth your time.
